Message	solution will typically clean notably faster, but it also causes the most damage to the surface of the piece you are trying to clean. Most household detergents, automotive detergents, etc, all use a slightly basic solution with emulsifiers for this same reason. Anyone can use whatever choice of chemicals they want to clean their stuffs with, I'm just trying to give sound advice on the perils of using acidic cleaners.
